A History of Women in Construction

How far have we come?  I know when I first entered the industry, there were quite a few women working for our company.  However none of those women were in supervisory or management positions.  Even I was regulated to the office and started as a receptionist during the summer.  I had to push and continually ask for a job site position.  Even then, when I finally got my break, I was a Project Admin.  

Today, when I visit our job sites, I am pleased to see more and more women in the trades and occasionally in Project and Construction Management.
